About the Owner

Elsy Rodriguez, founder of Excel Janitorial LLC, brings over three decades of hands-on experience and leadership in the cleaning and facilities management industry. Originally from El Salvador, Elsy moved to the United States in 1989 to pursue new opportunities. She began her career as a custodian at the National Archives Building in Washington, DC, where her exceptional work ethic quickly led to a supervisory role at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Over the next several years, Elsy advanced through multiple leadership positions — from Assistant Manager at Fort Myers Military Base to Account Manager and eventually Area Manager — overseeing teams, managing operations, and ensuring the highest cleaning standards across multiple facilities.

In 2004, she joined MGM Services, where she continued to excel as an Account Manager and later Area Manager, collaborating closely with staff, clients, and vendors to deliver quality service and strengthen customer satisfaction.

With a passion for excellence and a deep commitment to her community, Elsy is now launching Excel Janitorial LLC to serve Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Her goal is to establish Excel Janitorial as a trusted, premier cleaning service provider that delivers exceptional results, builds lasting client relationships, and sets a new standard for professionalism in the industry.
